Accent and Dialect Coaching

Learning a new accent can be a challenge. The public are astute and highly critical; everyone has an opinion! So actors need to be precise and consistent in order to convince.

Through regular practise using muscle memory and a creative vocal and physical approach, these new sounds and placements become natural; an unconscious part of yourself and true to the character you inhabit; helping you find ownership and ease in the language so the accent doesn’t get in the way of the story you are telling.

I have coached actors for film, television and theatre and, of course, for those last minute auditions! I do feel it’s best, if possible, to coach face-to-face, but I am happy to offer online coaching through Skype, Zoom or FaceTime. Sessions can be recorded and you will receive a comprehensive accent breakdown.

For actors and performers – film, television, theatre – one to one coaching – small group coaching.
