My Dialect Coaching Tips #1

I receive a wide range of dialect coaching enquiries. Spoken English Training focussing on Received Pronunciation continues to be very much in demand by professionals — for speakers with English as a second language and throughout Great Britain.

I continue to work with some wonderful and interesting accent coaching clients from all over the world, and it is a privilege to connect with them over their very busy schedules.

Helping them to find the confidence to share their wide and diverse knowledge clearly and energetically, with the accent or dialect they desire, is like unlocking a door to their clarity and muscularity of speech!

Because it’s so important to be clear and understood!

Whether you happen to be an actor on the stage or film set, or a business professional regularly needing to be on your feet at meetings and conferences, I do feel that a speaker needs to be clear, and bring a generous energy to their words. It’s down to a desire to communicate; an audience needs and wants to be drawn in and encouraged to listen to your story!

Try your words out, focussing and really seeing who it is you are speaking to [you can focus on a table lamp or any inanimate object!] - just ‘see’ your audience and send your voice forward with a generous spirit and a desire to reach them - no strain, just tell them your story…clearly and with intention to communicate.

Till next time,

Ros
